I just had a D&C following a m/c 3 weeks ago. I bled for two weeks. Tonight, a little over a week after my bleeding stopped, I'm having brown spotting. I always get brown spotting right before AF shows. Could this be AF showing this early? My doctor said AF should show between 4-6 weeks after my D&C. What could this be? TIA!

Well anything goes after m/c

I seems like most people see AF for the first time 4-5 weeks after sometimes longer. I would guess that it is just spotting and not AF yet...but who knows it could be.

I hope it is so you can get the show on the road

Could be, but you can never really tell after a m/c because your bodys kind of out of wack. I had alot of spotting after my D&C. I hope it comes soon for you & I'm sorry for your loss.

I read some where that you have to be blood free for 20 days for it to be considered af I hope that she shows soon for you though.

I'm sorry for your loss and hope you are doing ok. After my D&C I bled for a few days then it stopped and a few days later the brown spotting started up. I spotted brown until AF came. AF was a very obvious change b/c it was bright red as opposed to brown (sorry if TMI). I called my doctor all the time because I thought that you were only supposed to bleed/spot for a week or so after the D&C. I can't remember the exact words but they essentially said the brown spotting was a sign your body was healing. They also said it was not uncommon for you to spot until your next period. Hope this helps.

I am so sorry for loss.
I had a d&c 5 weeks ago. I was induced at 17w and hemeraged after baby was born. I have also been spotting off and on since first week of reg flow. I never did this last 2 d&c's but I am not to concerned as it takes me about 7 to 8 weeks for a real af to show after d&c.

The PP about showing your body is healing sounds encouraging. I hope thats the case. I see Dr on the 27th.
