Guess what I got today???

A YEAST INFECTION, and I'm due to ovluated in the next 2 days!!! Sure, the infection could throw off ovulation, but I wouldn't be that lucky. DH and I hadn't BD since Thursday morning. So I made him DTD tonight, threw an instead in and ran off to the store to get some meds. I have no idea if my CM is condusive for sperm transport, but I had to give it a shot. I plan to remove the instead and give myself one dose of monostat and then watch my temps and try to BD until I O. Then finish the medication.

I was so phyched for this month. But who knows now. I'm just so annoyed.

ETA, my temps are all mess up because DH didn't get up at his normal time, so I slept for an extra 2-3 hours each day this weekend.

you probably dont want to hear this....but it really is best NOT to dtd when you have a YI.....it can make it worse and
you can actually pass it on to dh and if he isnt treated, can pass it back to you...creating a vicious cycle.

I hope it clears up soon !

OH, I know I shouldn't have sex. But it was the first day of the yeast infection, and hadn't gotten bad yet. I had to take a chance and get some of his little swimmers near there, just to give me some kind of chance for this month.

I say go to the health store and get some probiotics (acidophilus, its the active ingredient in yogurt) and take them daily until the infection goes away. It worked for me, and it is healthy in case you do get your bfp. Oh and just for a little cheer up factor, when I got pregnant with Abby I had a yeast infection when we bd'd. I didn't notice right away, but it still worked. So I hope it still works for you too! Oh and they have the one day cream that you could use to help speed up the process.
