Hey ladies....I'm back. Our trip was lots of fun even though it was soooo hot! We were camping right by the Columbia river (for you who know WA) but the water was still too cold to swim in the river despite the temps outside. I ended up in DD's kiddie pool w/ her .

On the way home today we had to stop in Quincy (read - middle of nowhere) for a 90th birthday party. DH was holding Cori and she started bawling, I spin around and he says "I think I broke her ankle!" WTH??? Apparently, he stood up quickly to get out of a chair and her leg was caught in the armrest and got twisted. We had to take her to the local hospital for x-rays. She screamed for about an hour...it was definitely the worst pain of her life. The x-ray showed no major fracture, but he was going to send it to a larger hospital to have a radiologist check out what may be a hairline fracture. Either way, they aren't going to cast it or anything....but my baby can't walk at all or even put weight on it. It is tough to explain to a toddler why they can't walk all of the sudden....she keeps testing it and then crying all over again. DH was devasted.

Anyway, it will probably take me awhile to catch up on here.....hope you all had a good weekend!
