Would you get on a boat to go out on the lake during the 2ww? I have no intention of wakeboarding because I'm still learing and take some nasty falls but I'm wondering if it's safe to be on a boat at all? Am I being over cautious? If the water's rough wouldn't it be similar to a roller coaster - the jerking and all? I'm leaning toward not going but want to see what everyone thinks.

Hope everyone has a fabulous weekend!

Ok, now I'm wondering...
I never heard of not doing a normal life during the 2ww. Thanks for asking this question. Sorry I'm no help, but I hope someone is.

I would! I think its important to live your normal life (except eat healthy and no drinking).

Up until around 4 weeks of pregnancy, whatever is going on inside is not effected by anything you do. Technically you can drink, party, whatever, during the 2ww, and still have a perfectly healthy pregnancy. My doctor told me that even after implantation, your blood is not flowing through the embryo until around 4 weeks, so you can't cause the embryo to not implant or anything like that. It had been a concern of mine, and my doctor said to live it up until I see the positive pregnancy test. So, I would do it! Have fun!

The only time I wouldn't do it would be if I was doing expensive fertility treatments, where you are PAYING for something to work, I'd probably sit in bed and not move in that case!

Id so go!!! Think of it this way... if you are pg, for the next 9 months youll have to be overly cautious and nervous about everything. Why not go out and have that last awsome time before you cant again?

Yes yes yes!

We have a wakeboarding boat, and I will be on it this weekend, and I am on the 2ww. I also got on it when I was preggo- just had a hard time at the end b/c all the bumps made me have to pee!

I just have to tell you ladies this. When I was pregnant with DD, I sent out on a boat and tried to learn to ski, or knee board, or anything so I could look cool in front of the guys. (I was 17) I took some REALLY nasty spills two days later is when I realized I was late, and found out I was 6 or 7 weeks pregnant. I didn't have any problems because of it.

I would definitely go and have a great time.
