For the last month and a half almost, I have been getting hcg after hcg draw, waiting for the levels to drop... and they haven't. Up and down, from 27 to 50... back and forth.

So, last Wednesday (A week and a half ago), I was given a shot of methotrexate, which should have cleared me out... another blood draw... 50 something. Up from the 37 it was 2 weeks previous.

So, the doctor said I want you to come in and take an hpt... and I said: Do you want me to take one NOW??? (And explained that I was a POAS-aholic and she laughed...

still a

Now, u/s and appt on Wednesday to figure out if there is tissue that needs to be removed. If there is, I'll have to schedule a d & c (I am very nervous to get one... I don't want to do surgery)

I definitely need some t & p from you ladies that there is some normal resolution to this. I feel like shaking my body, I swear! This is NOT what I meant when I said "Get pg and STAY pg..."

I'm so sorry Jenn! I hope they can figure out what's going on with you. If you have to do a D&C, it'll be okay. I was so scard when I had mine. Mine was easy.(physically) I don't remember anything! I recovered physically very quickly. I hope they won't have to, but if they do and you have any questions please feel free to pm me. You will be in my t&p.

Jenn

I am so sorry you are going through this. I hope you have a *normal* resolution, but if not and you do need a D&C, like Michelle said, it's not too bad. I was worried about it but it was actually a relatively easy procedure (not emotionally, of course, but physically)

Anyways, I hope it doesn't come to that.

I just really don't want a d & c... I finally told my mom that I was having issues and she took it better than I thought, that way she came come and take care of me maybe if I need one.

I hope everything turns out okay for you! I know I was terrified about possibly needing a D & C, so I can understand how you feel (I cope well with emotional pain, but when it comes to physical pain I'm a bit of a weenie). Hopefully the doctors will have some good answers for you soon. I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

Prayin you dont need the d&c!!! (I was also scared, I had never even had an IV in my life! It only took about 10 minutes, and I was fine Physically.. Not emotionally of course, as I had jus lost the baby 10-15 mins before the procedure..

I've had a D&C and a natural miscarriage, and the D&C was a lot easier. If you do need a D&C, it will be okay. I had a D&E last fall for my second tri loss, and I was scared to death of that, but it ended up being okay too. I do understand being scared though. I hope it gets better soon.
