So, I had planned to take my Daughter swimming this afternoon. It makes her so happy that I think I still want to do it. I'm not really holding on to hope that this isn't AF but thought I should check.... IF by some amazingly small chance this is just bleeding during pregnancy do you think it would hurt anything to wear a tampon for an hour or so?

I honestly don't know. I know they say no tampons w/ a m/c, but w/ chemical pregancies many women don't know they are pg and I'm sure use them thinking it is AF. I would think that you could probably get away with maybe an hour, but I don't know that I would push it too far beyond that, just to be safe.

Again hun, I am sorry.

I think a tampon would be fine if it is bleeding during early pregnancy.

if its early pregnancy bleeding it will be fine but i was told no tampons when i had chemical. that could have been due to the polyps i had though

I am not sure. When I first started m/c I used a tampon because that was all I had. Hubby ran out right away to get pads of course but I did use a tampon for while he was at work in the morning.

I think it would be okay... but maybe you should call your doctor?

My thought is... had I not tested, I wouldn't have know I was even pregnant so I would have been using them anyway.
