If I get a BFP how in the world am I going to surprise hubby with it? I mean I went all out and got a shirt made for Curtis that said big brother and video taped hubby's reaction last time.... What now? Plus we wont be as excited because... what happens if we lose another baby? Will we tell everyone like last time. UGH. A BFP is supposed to be a beautiful, exciting time... and look what it is now.
I'm kinda worried....
I'm feeling VERY over whelmed. Please talk some sense into me fast!

I know exactly how you feel. I've had the same fears. I would be so scared to make a big deal out of it, but... I think we have to remember that each of our children are precious. Was it any less exciting last time because you already had Curtis? I think we have to just put ourselves out there (just like we are already doing, but TTC again) and just enjoy as much as we can and worry as little as possible. I know, all of this is easier said than done. Good luck! I'm sure you will think of some NEW creative ways to tell DH.

Hmmm not sure on how to surpprize hubby. I always test with dh. He loves to see that BFP show up as much as I do We have a little ritual now. We sit down together and with a cup of pee. We EACH dip a test and then compare lol BFN/ BFP we test together weird HUH LOL
If your BFP( I sooo hope it is!) Take everything hour by hour day by day thats all I do. Enjoy the momments for what they are
Good luck!!!!!! When are you testing?

I might get a braclet box and wrap it up and put it under his pillow... then let him unwrap it and get his own in a way...

Cute ideas girls Doing it together and wrapping it up!
Curtis was a surprise so it was mostly me yelling at Hubby to come look and then lots of tears (Excitement and fear haha) With our recent PG it was alot of fun and excitement because we were trying. But with that said I totally understand what you mean. Each pregnancy is wonderful and should be celebrated no matter what the outcome might be. I think I just need to think of something different and as creative and stick to it.
Hmm... I'll have to search around and see what I can do. Thanks for the encouragement
I am not to sure when I'm testing. I think I might give it till Friday and if I get the tests from Bobbie sooner I'll use them, if I don't get them by then I'll get my own

i know how you feel. i think to myself that if i do get a bfp soon, i won't even tell the hubby yet. of course i know i'll tell him right away, but i feel like not telling him right away, just in case. i don't want to get all excited and then have another m/c. sucks huh? sorry i dont' have any advice, just agreeing w/ how you're feeling.

I agree with you. I have the same kind of feelings. When I finally see a BFP, I will tell DH right away. However, I'm going to be really cautious about when I will tell family and friends. I already told myself not to tell anyone about my next pregnancy until I hear a heartbeat.

I think we will tell our parents and my best friend. That way we have support either way. His parents helped us out alot with baby sitting Curtis last time.
