Sex after D&C???

So, its been 20 days since the d&c and I still havent had sex.. Im scared to.. As they say with a d&c (and natural m/c for that matter) you are prone to infection... I also am scared its guna hurt, cuz for 1, I got tools put in there etc from the d&c, and 2, I havent had sex in so long! since like a week before I lost the baby, so almost 30 days..

Any advice, suggestions or jus input would be Greatly! Appreciated!

I definitely remember THOSE fears!!!!
I waited almost two months to DTD because I was afraid! (It wasn't so bad, tho!!!)

I personally didn't have sex for a LONG time after my D&C, lol. I was scared too! When we finally DTD it didn't hurt as much as i thought it would, i think it was more just uncomfortable because i was so nervous to finally do it again. I would suggest having lubrication close by and take your time!! Everything will be back to normal soon. Good luck!

I was told to wait 2 weeks after the d&c, I think I waited a bit longer than that. I was very scar, but it was not as bad as I thought it would be.

Thanks ladies.. Im jus scared of infection mostly.. or getting pregnant too fast.. So.. Lotsa lube and Condoms/??? lol.. I probly still wont even try for another 4-6 days probly..

If youre really scared about the infection, a condom wouldnt hurt like you said. Good luck hun.

I waited 2 weeks. It wasn't bad. I was nervous about infection, too. I'd just use lots of lube. Have fun!

Thanks ladies! Yeah, I think I will give it a few more days (My sex drive is looowww anyway.. Poor poor dbf.) and then use condoms and lube.. Thanks again ladies =)

i was scared after mine too, but i waited til i completely stopped bleeding, and i think it was 2-3 weeks after. it didn't feel any different at all, in fact i didn't feel anything different in there immediately after i left the hospital after my d&c. which surprised me. you should be fine, i think it' sbeen long enough.
