The earliest I tested was 5 DPO, I knew it would be negative, but I was having cramps and I had a weird cycle before, and I wanted to make sure it wasn't an eptopic from the previous cycle.

OK, there are over 6 replies!!!!

the reason i asked is....

on another forum i am a member of (i think ive posted maybe twice to keep my account active cos im a nosey begger....
a woman posted this morning that she was upset at a bfn. when asked where she was in her cycle she replied...

do you want to know?

you sure?

2DPO!!!!!!
now either im insane and missing something or she is missing a few marbles!
im sorry if i offend anyone with that but come on, if you test at 2DPO surely you know your gonna get a BFN!
its not the 2 DPO that got me, its the how upset she got about it!

That's funny. I've tested early, but I don't start getting upset until at least 10-11dpo.

Last time i was determined to hold off, then thought for sure AF was coming, and im glad that i waited so long. If and when we try for baby #3, i wont test till AF is late. I dont like knowing at 3w or even 4w just because i feel like it adds more time to worry .

My earliest was prolly like 7DPO think but i was not really upset with the BFN.

Yeah I'm definately not upset at my BFNs so far...but the more and more I search the HPT gallery on FF and see on the BFP at 10DPO the more I am wanting to test on Sunday...I'm just so anxious that if its BFN I'll get upset and I don't want to do that....

i know what you mean. when i had bfns at 10 dpo i was really upset and then when i got it at 14dpo i was devestated. silly thing is my angel is the only one i got a bfp with BEFORE doc confirmed i was preg! i was nealy 8 weeks wuth dd before i knew!
i totally understand her being upset at a bfn but i just dont get how she thought she would get anything else at 2dpo! lol
