It's been a little over a month since my loss. My OB told me it could take up to 6-8 weeks for my cycle to return. This morning at work, I started spotting...getting all excited, thinking AF is finally back so I can start keeping track of my cycles again. It was bright red, which I thought was a little odd but whatever at this point. I check again, a few hours later and it's almost nothing (a little blood mixed in with mucus-y looking stuff), another hour after that....nothing at all

So my question is...did you get spotting before AF showed herself again? Or maybe (though I highly doubt it...as DH's swimmers are 'broken') it's implantation bleeding?

I don't remember if I started spotting or not... however, I did get AF about 5 and a half weeks after my m/c. I would say that if you don't get it within the next week, you might wanna take a test. Good luck!

Firstly, allow me to send my condolences onto you. I am truly deeply sorry you lost your baby girl!!!

Second, since it's been roughly a month since, it might be IB. However, you might not have even ovulated since that day and it could be AF getting ready to fly in completely on her broom.

Have you tested using a HPT recently? Do you know for sure if your numbers are less than 5??

heading your way!!!!

Nope, was debating it and honestly, I'm not sure what my numbers are...other than the OB said I can start again whenever AF shows herself.

And ty for the condolences (from all of you), I'm taking one day at a time....and scared to death about the next pregnancy...but I am determined to have more kids.

I'm debating about saying anything to DH at this point, as the chance of me getting pregnant naturally are prolly about 1billion to 1 (but he'd want to know why I'm POAS).

to all of you.

I think you should test to see if it's positive or negative. If it's negative then you know AF is right around the corner, if it's positive it could either be a new pregnancy or something left over from your last pregnancy that could cause harm to your body.

Please let us know what happens!!!!!

Just got back from Dollar General, and got BFN...so at least I know that my system should be clear of my last pregnancy. So, hopefully AF will show her ugly face, or I'll test again in a week.

I'm so sorry for your loss.

I just had a m/c and D&C on April 28th. I've had some weird bleeding and spotting off and on since then, but AF still hasn't shown. My doctor said it could take 6-8 weeks for AF to show again. Good luck, hun, I hope she shows for you soon.

I'm so sorry for your loss.

I had a natural m/c at 10 weeks. I got my AF just 23 days after. I just got my second AF the other day. With both the bleeding has been bright red (it was never like that before). My cycles are screwed up too. I was always a 28 day-er, this last one was 32. Good luck!

I'm so sorry for your loss.

I spotted on and off after my loss at 14 weeks, I had a D&E. I FINALLY got AF exactly 8 weeks later, it felt like forever! But I think my body needed that time to heal.

Well, AF finally showed herself this morning (this is the ONLY time I can ever remember being thrilled she showed up) so I can start keeping track of my cycles again until August. I'm a little concerned with the amount of clots I'm passing (TMI sorry), but I'm already being tested in the middle of this month for a clotting disorder. Once the Dr office calls with the results of that, I'll make a point of asking a few questions about my cycle.

ty all for your support, you ladies are great!

Glad she finally showed. It's funny how much you want her to show this one time but hate all the other times that she shows up.
