My twin sister called a little bit earlier. She has been in pain for a couple days and we figured it was a cyst ...she is on BC pills. Well she gave in and went to the DR and is now waiting for surgery. She was PG and it was ectopic. She just sounds numb right now. Life sucks

We will know more later when she gets to talk to the doctor. GRRRR I think life really does bite sometimes.

UPDATE:
Charlena went in today and they did emergency surgery. It was an ectopic PG for sure. It was the size of a baseball and in the right tube. They had to remove the tube, but she got to keep the ovary. She has to stay in the hospital until tomorrow morning. I feel sooo bad for her

I just got off the phone with her. Her levels are 34. Which is awesome news. The Dr's ordered another u/s because they weren't the ones who did the first one today, so they don't trust the images. She is now still in the hospital waiting for this next u/s and then they will decide from there. Sounds to me like they won't have to do surgery. I think all your prayers worked

I will update again later.

Well the did the second u/s and saw something in the right tube, but don't know what it is. Charlena decided that the dr's were quacks and signed herself out against dr's orders I said

She has to go in and see her real Dr tomorrow. They will do another beta to see if her levels are rising. It is possible it was a cyst creating the HCG. I think the only way to know for sure is if they test whatever it is they remove if they do end up doing surgery. I will update again tomorrow when I know more. She sounded in a much better mood now that she is out of the hospital. Eric (the boyfriend) said he thinks he's PG too... the dr's are so clueless there he said he could be PG too according to them

I am just glad she is going home tonight. She has been through enough for one day.

Good for her for taking control of the situation herself. She sounds kinda like her twin. I hope everything goes well at the drs office tomorrow.

I'm so sorry she's going through this, sounds like a rollercoaster. Hopefully she gets more answers from her regular doc!
