I had my ultrasound today to see if we can figure out why I've had 2 m/c's and unfortunately the news isn't good...
I have another cyst, this one bigger than the last. It's 7 cm. That is a little bit bigger than a golf ball. The last one was 6 cm. It looks like it's the same type, filled with blood (sorry, gross...). My doctor wanted me to make an appointment with another doctor in the practice for a second opinion but it looks like they might be going in and taking the ovary. Until they decide what to do I am basically a ticking time bomb. When these things explode it's BAAAD!
Plus... My husband is out of town until Thursday or Friday
Plus... My daughter is sick, throwing up and VERY clingy!
It just keeps piling on.......

im so sorry hun.
i had cysts before and by the time i got in to have them removed the one on my left was 9cm and i lost the ovary. the one on my right was 6 and they managed to save it but i now get endo cysts on my right and feel them go every month
i know how scarey and upsetting it is hun but it is possible to concieve with one ovary
do you know how they will remove it? mine was going to be laser but when they realised there was one on each i had major surgery
i will keep everything crossed for you hun and please keep us updated
xx

I'm so sorry you are going through so much right now. Hope your little one gets better soon.
I hope that the doc find a way to remove it without doing major surgery and you keep your ovary.

Dahlia had an appointment today and my appointment is scheduled for Monday afternoon. I'm meeting with one of the doctors that has been around a lot longer. Hopefully he will have good news but we had to have the "taking the ovary" talk the first time around so I'm really not hoping for much. I have no idea what type of surgery they plan on doing. I already have 3 holes in my tummy from the clean up of the last cyst / removal of my appendix. I'm just going to tell them that if they cut me again they best use the same lines! hahaha I do have the other ovary. I've proven to be very easily impregnated, which is good! Hopefully that is a good sign for our future. DH gets home tomorrow and should be home on Monday. A friend offered to let Dahlia stay at her house for her nap (she's only 5 min. from my doctor) so I could go to my appointment and I'm thinking about maybe going to lunch with DH before hand and him going with me. Or he might stay home and watch Dahlia. We'll figure that out later.
Dahlia is feeling a little better. It comes and goes. Doctor said it's a virus and sent me home with some magical medicine for nausea that helped her to sleep.. we both got a MUCH needed nap. Without it she couldn't sleep for more that 10 minutes at a time and then she would wake up hurting. Poor girl. Sleeping like a rock now!
Thanks ladies......

I'm glad that they caught it in time. I'm sure that they will use the same incision points if they can. Please KUP.
