Some docs say you can begin right away, others say 1 cycle, others say 3 cycles, and others say 6 cycles. It all depends on your situation I guess.
I'm still waiting, and it's been a year. But, that's personal (husband's) preference!

As everyone has already said, different doctors say different things depending on differing circumstances. I was told to wait 3 cycles...I did not wait even 1. I'm generally a bit hard-headed though.
Good luck with your appointment tomorrow.

I think some of the delay might have to do with how far along you were for your m/c. I also think that a lot of doctors want you to wait so that if you do get pregnant again, you can more easily track the progress based on the last menstral (sp?) cycle. Good luck at the doc's.

My first m/c i was told it was ok to start ttc right away (we weren't trying though) that one i lost at 6weeks. My second m/c dr didn't really sepicify, but i read 6months-1 year. Of course that was a totally different reason for miscarrige a Molar pregnancy. That one i lost at 13weeks.
I think Drs vary in the length they want you to wait.

I was told to wait 3 cycles. So that my body would heal properly. I ended up waiting for a few more months.
Its all up to you, and when your body is ready.
