Hi! My name is Amy. I was directed to your group from my DDC after I said goodbye. I have been lurking for a few days and thought it might be about time to introduce myself. I'm a 23 year old law student. I found out I was pregnant (for the first time ever!) about May 20 and when I went in for my first appointment on June 3 I had just begun to miscarry. I had started spotting the morning of my appointment, and I was so hoping it was nothing. However, it wasn't meant to be. The timing of the pregnancy wasn't perfect, and DF was less than excited about it. Still, in the few weeks I knew I was pregnant, I had become so attached to the little guy. I so very much wanted/want to be a mommy. I'm not actively TTC at the moment. DF and I have some differences to work through before we can get to that point (I'm hoping and praying that it comes quickly, but I know that God has his own timing and his own plan for me). But I was hoping you ladies would let me join your group anyway. You all seem so friendly and welcoming and encouraging, which is just what I need right now.

I'm glad you found us, but sad that you had to go through a loss to get here. This is a fun bunch with LOTS of great advice. Hang around for a while and you'll know what I mean. again!

welcome, and i'm sorry for your loss. i've had 1 m/c as well, and am ttc. this forum really helped me when i didn't have anyone i felt i could talk to afterwards. i hope you get your stuff sorted out w/ your df... and when the time is right, a bfp!!!

Hi Amy.. I am so sorry .. You ARE a mom now.. And you will be a mom to another baby in the future I jus joined this group not too long ago, couple weeks ago I guess.. and These women are AWSOME! Never met such an understanding and caring group of ladies... I hope you and your DF can work out your diferences and things will start lookin brighter for you...

Hello Amy! Like Bobbie said, you only have to have the heart to be here. I joined in 2006 when I was TTC my Erin, and she's now a year old and I want to TTC again! DH and I are having issues being on the same page in that area, although, I MAY have myself an "oopsie." If not, though, I'll be a waiting buddy too!
I'm sorry for your loss. But you've ended up in a really great place.
