To much bleeding after d&c

I am so fusterated!!

I thought I had af 27 days ago it lasted 16 days!!!!

Then I was sure I was done af and it is back after just 6 days with no blood!

I am spotting to much to be called spotting but not bleeding enough to be called AF. It is starting get me down.

It been 9 weeks now since d&c and all together from d&c to today I have bled/spotted 49 days out of 71 days. I have had 3 distict af's bleeds but they were not af's just more random spurts I guess.

I Cant tell if this new spurt is Af after again 3x in 4 weeks?!?!

Technically one cant have 3 af in 4 weeks due to the fact it all hormon driven and I have to O first to even get P4 to then disapate to start a real af so it more like lineing shedding in a anovlatory stye.

I have super sore bbs and overies are hurting now and then. Plus full ferning but NEG OPK's I wonder has anyone heard if it possable to be acually going to O but still bleeding less then AF but more then spotting and if so has anyone acually had sperm survive in blood rather then CM and get pg?(TMI) I know lol.

I know it NOT O spotting as I have not acually Oed. Check out my chart I listed the last days of spotting cuz when I put in LIGHT AF it wants to start a new cycle but it to light for a real af.

My options are: Its a anov af finally starting or ,I have retained some placenta material and it makeing me bleed this long( but I would think I had a infection by now) or, I had AF last weeks bleed but I am haveing break trho bleeding and trying to O same time.

I am going to call dr in a couple days.

UPDATED: After I posted I called DR she wants me in to see her at 9 AM tomorrow, June 19th. I will update after I get home in the afternoon.

My spotting has upgraded to once again full light af now ..again.

i'm so sorry! I can totally see why you would be frustrated. I hope you get some good information from the doc tomorrow. Keep us posted.

Well, I'm glad that your Dr. wants to see you because that is definitely not normal. I hope everything is okay and you get it figured out!

I'll be interested in what your doctor has to say Irene...hopefully she can shed some light because it definitely sounds like way too much bleeding.

*UPDATE*

I went to Dr this Am and not sure if I explained this part.

I see 2 Dr now one for any complications due to d&c or future pg if high risk ( OB/GYN) and one for my basic health and pg if things appear normal now (GP) They Comanage my case now.

I went to see my amazing GP today and she felt it was hormons or possably peri menapause

She said that important to know if it is cuz I would plenty early enough for interventiin right away with ttcing.

She had a full CBC, TSH,LH,FSH and Prolactin done today. She says since I acually had my milk come in after baby was born I may be running high prolactin and that can make you bleed like I am since it like I weaned cold turkey so to speak.

Plus a note to the OB if GP should order a u/s to make sure its not retained placenta but she thinks it not likey since I am not showing typical symtoms they would expect with that. Then a follow up with OB if u/s is done to review everything.

I am pleased My Dr Takes me seriosely!

On a exciteing note I got a phone call today and My GP Dr. felt I was qualified enough with charting skills to refere me to 2 of her patience for a consult! LOL I am thrilled!

I meet with them in a couple weeks one gal is TTC the other is TTA.

Thanks for all your well wishes I cant wait to get tests back!

ETA: Please pray the FSH is under 10 that means I wouldnt be peri menapausal!

Did they do another ultrasound on you? I know this is a stupid question. I see you were induced and had a d and c but could there be a piece of placenta left over that they just missed? I was a little over 8 weeks and had just a regular d and c. After bleeding really bad for two weeks and then off and on for two more weeks I called the dr. And demanded another ultrasound. And low and behold they hadn't got all the tissue. And I went in again for another d and c. If the blood work comes back all normal I would suggest an ultrasound. I know it's highly unlikely that you still have some retained tissue of some sort but not improbable. Good luck!!!!

Wow My Dr said that IF I indeed retained I would showing signs... Did you have any symptoms?

I had a horriable cramp last night it felt like a contraction that didnt let up for about 1 hour I was getting worried then i had a gush and some clots and BRIGHT red blood it stettled down and I dismissed it.

Then today exact same thing when I was shopping and I had to get dh to take cart thro check out I left store and had to sit in van and thought I was going puke it hurt so bad...it went away and gush and clots after when I got home..I am calling DR on Monday for sure as this has NEVER happened to me ..ughhhh

Right now I feel perfectly fine if it wasnt for the bleeding I would have no clue something was going on.

OH my gosh!! I am so sorry for your losses.

I am amazed as I had my placenta manually removed after last baby and it was the first time I ever had a epi!

I had the first 7 babies med free.. and I am stunned you went thro that with out being knocked out!!

Had I not had epi they would have knocked me out..The Dr does have hands in uteras up to elbow and it very very physically undiscribaly brutal. Luckly they did get all mine out manually and all I needed was antibiotics after.

I for sure going to call and see if Dr booked U/S now

Oh no...the story wasn't me writing it. I had just found it when I had went through the retained tissue. I would of definitely needed to be knocked out.

I didn't really have symptoms except I felt like I was having contractions for at least a week. And like you...I would gush blood and clots. Then it would be fine. After that week...it was just heavy bleeding. Then it was off and on for two more weeks. I think I would be done and then a day later I would start bleeding again. I did take a hpt test and still had a positive result. They didn't follow my hcg level down. I hope everything turns out okay with you. I know that after my 2nd d and c I had very little bleeding. Just spotting basically for a few days. Good luck!
