i don't know if i'm just more conscious of it now, but it seems like everyone female i see is pg. at target, costco, the mall... it's making me sad. i haven't been posting as much lately, trying to just stop obsessing and wanting this so much, but not really working. i stare at pg ladies and i' sure people think i'm weird. but i cna't help it. trying not to stress about ttc is actually not working and making me think about it more.
i know you guys go through this... it hasn't even been as long for me as it has some of you .... i'm such a baby. this sucks. i have just been feeling really down about it lately and seeing an absurd number of pregos isn't helping.
sorry, i don't usually post like this. i guess i just want to whine and cry.

I've noticed I'm seeing ALOT of preggos too. Yesterday I figured I'd be safe most of the day. After all, aren't preggos ladies (especially further along) discouraged from flying?
I was wrong though. I saw TONS of very pregnant women. It sucked!

When I see them I try to imagine what their history has been. I wonder if they have lost babies and are carrying a miracle? I wonder if the woman did IVF? I try and calm my jealousy because I have no idea what has led her up to that point.
It makes me feel better to think the whole world didn't just have sex once and get PG...cause that is how it feels seeing all those bumps.
Oh and I work retail in the childrens dept most of the time. Talk about BUMP CITY

I COMPLETELY understand...it's like there is another baby boom right now. I wish they would pass the water to me!!!
bobbie - that is a GREAT way of looking at it...I'm going to adopt that way of thinking.

haven's mom- RIGHT?! i like to watch the today show in the morning, but whatshername is pg and is always mentioning it little ways. doesn't help that she's all cute and small and adorable pg either. LOL
bobbie- that's a great way of thinking about it. it does seem like the whole world got knocked up after having sex once (and those annoying celebs all getting pg too, pffft. ) but now i'll try and imagine what that person has gone through.

I notice that on the today show too. At first I thought that she gain weith but then I saw her belly.
I guess I have also seem pg ladies all over the place, llike Bobbie I wonder what their story is because I refuse to think that they had sex once and got pg. My dh actually told me that we should get drunk and have sex and we'll get pg, because that's what happens to college girls all the time

Yeah, they're all over the place here too. I've been noticing them more and more though. *sigh*
What Bobbie said was actually what got me through right after my loss. I hated seeing all the brand-new babies. But, it's interesting how often Cora would get brought up, and how often those same women holding those brand-new babies would share stories of their own losses. A couple even had pictures in their wallets of their stillborn babies.
But it hurts to see everyone have something that you want so much, doesn't it?

I've noticed it too! I guess the nice weather is bringing them out of the woodwork! My hardest thing lately has been that I'm actually thin for me right now (doc has already checked my thyroid) and everyone is trying to compliment me with "You look good/skinny/whatever"......I just wanna cry because I want to be FAT! Life can sure be ironic! My sis-in-law said something about me being skinny the other day (I think she may have issues with it) and I said "don't worry, I'm either going to get pregnant or eat my feelings so I won't be skinny for long!"

Oh yes, definitely seems like they are everywhere. It makes me so sad, I'd give anything to have a baby in my belly right now.

I am so glad to see this thread...I was just sitting here dwelling on the fact that everyone I know is pg. My BFF is and she didnt want another one, My MIL just e-mailed me to tell me my brand new SIL is pg with twins, my BIL is dating a girl whos pg, and 9 of my friends are pg too. Grrr, I hate to be so envious of people but this is getting to me a little more than I would like to admit. Good thing I have you wonderful girls to talk to otherwise I might be going even more crazy.
