OMG sweetie, I don't know what to say. I am so sorry that your brother had such a bad accident, but I am glad that the doctors are working on him and getting things better for him. I imagine that must have been very hard to see... Big
Thanks hun, yes it was very hard to see It was hard talking to him too, i dont usually talk to people if they are asleep so i found it hard to know what to say
My dad is going back up later this evening so i will know more when he updates me x

I'm very glad that he is stable at least and I hope the scan brings good news too. Its great that you went to see him, even though its so hard. I've been so worried about you (I have two younger brothers, one who is about the same age so I keep thinking about what it would be like if something happened to him). Thanks so much for keeping us updated on here!
I am so glad your brother is doing better. I have been following your story and it sounds like your brother is one lucky man. I work in ICU and I can tell you that your dad is right. All those wires and machines, although they can seem overwhelming, are just to help not to hurt. I can imagine it is overwhelming to see him at first in that situation but holding his hand and telling him he is going to be OK is the best thing you can do for him. As far as his injuries looking painful, keep in mind that while he is sedated he is most likely not in any pain. I know it looks painful but I am sure the nurses are keeping the pain medicine on him to keep him comfortable. The good thing about it is that as he recovers he probably won't remember the worst parts of it. Thank you for keeping us updated and I will be praying that he makes a full recovery!!
sweetheart
i know it was hard for you but as i said, if you hadnt seen him you would only have worried more and at least you were able to find out the facts by going in.
love you hun
xx
