With Dominic, I lost him at three weeks and never even thought to go to the doctor. With Gwen, like akafrogs, I went to the doctor but they never confirmed the pregnancy (there had been some confusion as to whether or not I was pregnant). I didn't even think to request the Rhogam shot. (I am O-. DF is O+.) Will this cause problems in the future?

I am A- and have gotten rhogam even though I had early losses. However, my OB told me that most studies show that with early losses it isn't really nessesary because the baby doens't have blood cells yet. If you are worried you can have your antibodies tested to see if you have had any exposure to RH positive blood from a baby.

When the nurse called me w/ the results of the test, she just said I could start TTC right away because it was such and early loss. Two days later, I thought about the shot and called back and the doctor said, just to be safe, I should go get the shot.

I agree w/ the PP that you could go and have your antibodies tested.
