my dad has been up again this evening and hes just phoned me with an update.
The CT scan came back really good, hes had his neck brace taken off as there is no sign of injury to the neck and everything else is clear too.
He is going to theatre in the morning to have some packs removed. They were put in his abdomen to soak up the bleeding and stuff. But he doesnt need them in now.
A specialist from another hospital is going to have a look at his hip before he goes to theatre to see if he needs skin grafts and stuff, but thats not as important as other stuff. and this is the best news,.........
They are weaning him off the ventilator
He is doing really well apparently. He is starting each breath himself and the ventilator is finishing off each breath for him, but hes doing fantastic 
***UPDATE***
Hes gone back onto full ventilation now and hes not doing so good

I haven't been on since Friday sometime, and I missed all of this! I'm so sorry Kate!!! So thankful that he's improving and recovering!!! What an amazing thing! My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family while you are all healing together!!

I am so sorry you and your family are going through all of this. The ups and downs, relief only to have more to worry about must be horrible. I'll keep you, your family, your brother in my prayers for as long as is needed.
