I will be MIA for most of tomorrow... it is Jackie's dental surgery (For those of you who don't know, she has very soft teeth and b/c of that and little enamel on her teeth, she needs a tooth pulled and several root canals). She will be put under anesthesia for 2-3 hours... which makes me VERY nervous... she is my best friend and I would die if anything happened to her.
Can you please keep us in your prayers???

Oh my goodness!!
You and Jackie are in my T&Ps tomorrow.
What causes that to happen to her teeth? I have never heard of such a thing.
Poor baby!

I am not sure what causes lack of enamel, but I think it may be hereditary (DH has pretty bad teeth)... It makes me angry b/c when it first started I took her to the family dentist many times and they said there was nothing that they could do... but, they should have referred me to a pediatric dentist b/c they could have handled the problems when they were small and put sealent on her teeth to prevent further decay.

Oh honey, I can't imagine how I'd feel if Erin needed this! So sad! There was a girl that I used to go to church with (when I lived at home) who had really bad teeth and had all sorts of caps and such on her teeth for a reason that seems very similar to this. She did fine, and I'm sure Jackie will too! All my prayers, however!
 to her!

I had never heard of anyone having this happen so young, so I just believed the dentist. I could kill him now b/c now she has to have all this work done.
Did your little sis have the same prob w/ her adult teeth??

you guys are in my thoughts and prayers!!
My oldest had the same problem as your daughter. and he had to have caps put on most of his teeth. It was so scary. I was able to go in the room, till he was fast asleep. but as a mom to watch your child go to sleep in a un-natural way kills ya. I cried.
I hope she gets better fast....
