Well........................we have a beautiful baby and a hb of 115. I'm so relieved. I am exactly on schedule at 6w3d. My dd is Feb 17, but I will have a scheduled c-section. So, it will be 1-2 weeks before that. Woohoo!!!! I got a whole bag full of sample vitamins, pg magazines, a pregnancy and after book, etc. It is awesome! I also found out my dr office does a 15 week u/s to determine the sex of the baby. It's $75.00 or you can just wait until the 20w one that insurance will cover.. I want to know early. That's only 7 weeks away! They also do the 3/4d u/s for $125.00 between 28-32 weeks. I'll have to talk to dh about that one.
They took 5 vials of blood They will check for cystic fibrosis. She asked me about the testing for downs because of my age. I don't want to do an amnio though. There is a high m/c rate there. But they can do b/w and an u/s at 12-13 weeks and it will diagnose about 90% of the time. So, I'll do that. Has anyone else done these tests?
I am just over the moon with happiness right now. I will try to get my u/s pic scanned a little later and post. I love you all.

That's absolutely wonderful, Michelle!!!
I've got tears in my eyes, I'm just so darn happy for you and Scott!!!!
That's awesome that your doc's office does a 15 week u/s, but, can that really be accurate? Make a deal with Scott, if you wait to 20 weeks for the gender u/s, you WANT the 3D u/s, since you didn't spend any extra money! I'm so evil!
Sooooooooooooooooo happy and excited for you girl!!!!!!!! I can't wait to see the pic!!!!

I'm glad that it went so well!!
With my pregnancy, I opted for the u/s instead of the amnio too! I do not like the idea of a needle being inserted next to my baby! I'm told that the u/s is very accurate!
Good luck!
