So my appt that was rescheduled last week due to the doctor being stuck at his other office finally happened today!!! YAY

So, here's the rundown. I told him what's been going on since my D&C in November, told him about my charts and OPKs etc... He was really pleased that I had been doing all that, and told me that it was obvious that I have been ovulating.

He said that our next step (unless I get a BFP next week), is for dh to do a SA and for me to have an HSG, which he will do on CD 7-11 next month. He is pretty confident that both of those will come back fine, but he just wants to rule anything basic out before moving on.

Then, as long as those come back fine, he will start me on a couple months of Clomid. If that still doesn't work within a couple cycles, then he will send me on to a RE for IUI!!!

I am so pleased that he is taking my concerns seriously! He said that he definitely expects me to be pregnant within a year of my m/c!!!!

Dh wasn't too pleased about the whole SA thing, but he's willing to do it

Wow Melanie! That is wonderful news. I'm so glad you have such a good doctor. I hope you'll get a BFP next week and won't need testing. But if you don't then at least you have an awesome plan of action. I'm so happy for you!

Melanie, i was wondering about you and actually remembered your appt!
I am so glad that your doctor is so proactive and seems like he is determined to help you get your BFP right away. You will be seeing that second line in no time!

Yep...a regular OB/GYN! He's great, huh?!? I only started going to that office in the fall when I had my first appt (when we found out the baby had no hb), but I LOVE them!
