i just wanted to find out if any of you have tried testing with an opk.

i tested yesterday with a hpt and i got an early evap
then i tested again today and got another early evap
then this afternoon i tested with an opk and i got an almost pos opk

now, i have a cyst at the moment, i am on provera (synthetic progesterone) so this opk should NOT be picking up an LH surge... what is it picking up??? is my cyst sending something out??? the test is sposed to be disapearing with the provera! damit!!

any thoughts, experiences ???

An OPK can show up positive, but only if the hcg levels are high enough (Not sure what that level is)... I hope that this is that for you! When are you testing again?

I hope its a bfp too! But shouldnt you Not be taking Provera if there is a chance of being pregnant? I dont know too much about fertility meds, but I remember one girl starting Provera to get her af to start, and ended up being pg, sadly, she had an early miscarriage because of the provera..

I tested with one last week because I wanted to pee on something so bad and it came back a blaring + but I'm 21 weeks. I dont know how long it would take to show up in the early stages of pg.

I dunno. I've never tested with an OPK. What brand of HPTs did you get the evaps on? Are you certain they are evaps? I would def. try again with an HPT. I feel like its a BFP. GOod luck

thanx ladies

they are ic... i have heard from alot of people that the dont get evaps on ics so i dont know

i am petrified that this could be a real bfp because like mummy2an angel said that i will probably mc on the provera because it is like synthetic progest and once you stop it creates a sharp decrease and then af starts...

however, i have a feeling my cyst is causing the pos. the evaps are pretty convincing bfps.

i have a ultra sound on tuesday to see if the cyst is gone, i guess we will go from there to see if there is anything in there... i hope that if i am preg the doc will have a solution to try and save the pregnancy after provera.... otherwise, i have probably caused an abortion... thats soo dam sad!!!
