Hello everyone! Here's a very brief intro about me.

My name is Amy, I'm 26 and I've been married for 6 years. My daughter Emma is 5 and my son Eli is 3. Almost a year ago my daughter Daisy was stillborn. After that I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism and went on medication for that. A few months later we started ttc'ing again and no dice. After 6 months I went to my ob and he diagnosed me with PCOS. He prescribed me clomid and told me the best thing I could do is to lose weight. (I was about 230 then, 80 lbs overweight for me). The clomid didn't work, I never ovulated any of the months I took it. My dh wasn't interested in any further fertility treatments so we're focusing on losing weight right now. I've lost 15 lbs in the 3 months I've been trying. It's very frustrating and slow. Sometimes I'll lose 4 lbs in a week and then nothing for three weeks. And to top it off my sil just got pregnant with her 4th child and spent a whole evening telling me how miserable it is to be pregnant and how she hates being pregnant. I almost smacked her.

Anyway, that's the skinny on me. I hope to get to know all of you!

Amy

I am so sorry for your loss. Congrats on the 15lbs in 3 months... that must feel awesome! I hope that you continue to lose those lbs... losing a lot of weight quickly is worse than gradually or so I have heard, so keep your head up!

I'm sorry to hear about your SIL... that must be very difficult for you... it is totally normal to feel that way though after a loss. Big

I look forward to getting to know you!
