I went in to the dermatologist and he said he was going to give me a steroid cream to use for two weeks. He said if it's not better in two weeks then to come back and then he'd do a biopsy.

But he thought it was probably just contact dermatitis/eczema based on the way it looked and my age.

He saw on my chart that I was TTC and was worried about giving me the steroid cream until I told him I was already having to not TTC this month because I was getting the Rubella vaccine. So he said "oh then this is a good month to get treated for this!" I'm glad of that at least, my mom pointed out that I would have been ticked if I had had to avoid for a month due to the rubella vax and then another month due to the rash. At least this way I am getting all of this stuff out of the way at once.

I'm still a little nervous about the rash, but I'm starting to relax a little.

I got the MMR vax today too and holy crap it stung! Now I know why those little babies that get it start wailing.

I still feel pretty...emotionally fragile...could be the term, I guess, about everything that's going on in my life right now, so I'm hoping I can start to feel better during this month. Everything sets me off these days like even seeing little babies in the grocery store.

Thanks to all of you SO MUCH for your thoughts and prayers. I really appreciate it!

I agree with your Dr. This is the perfect month for treatment. You might as well go to the dentist too for a cleaning! Get all of that out of the way this month, 'cause you will be getting your BFP next month!!!

I hope the rash clears up soon. Steroid cream works great on rashes!

*whew* sweetie im glad it was just a rash and nothing more. i was really worried about you. i think you need to take some time away and go on a cruise!!!!
relax and take a deep breath in and know that somethings are thrown in our path for a reason. a reason to make you stronger. you will conceive a beautiful baby in no time.

I'm glad it's just a rash. It's good to have that taken care of since you got the vax shot. Hope you feel better soon, I have weepy moments myself.

I agree with the other ladies.
I'm glad it's just a rash and that you can take care of it this month. I also think that you should take this month to take care of you emotionally, take a vacation, leave town for a couple of days and disconnect from everything around you. when you guys come back start back on TTC with a new clear mind.

the other ladies. That's great news he thinks a cream may clear it up. I'm glad to hear things went well.

I'm really glad that he doesn't think it's anything more than a skin rash! My sister has rashes that are like eczema but aren't, that she has to use steroid creams for. Good thing she's not going to be having a baby any time soon.

I'm also glad that you already couldn't TTC this month. I think it would be harder to have to put off TTC for a stupid rash than for the vaccine. At least it'll all be in one month. And I agree with Patty, you should take a little getaway and just be you and your DH for a while. Have sex for the FUN of it instead of "having to" at certain specific times.

Anyway, And I hope this break is just what you need!

I'm so glad that things are starting to work out a little bit. I hope that the rash goes away and you can focus on TTC.

I'd love to go on vacation but Dh and I are outdoorsy people and Texas is SO HOT right now that anywhere within driving distance is going to be scorching. Maybe we can find some fun stuff to do on weekends though.
We want to take a longer vacation once fall hits and it is cooler outside. If I'm not pregnant by then, I'll need it then too!

I am going to have my friend and her kids over sometime soon (older kids) and my 4 year old niece is going to stay with us for a couple days at the end of the month. So I've got a few things to look forward to.
