Today is exactly one month from the day of my miscarriage. I was trying to have a great day with my other 2 children. But then the call came and my 18 yr old un-married sister in law just gave birth prematurely to a baby boy. He weighs 5 lbs. He is on oxygen but doing very good. He was due August 16. I am trying to be happy for her, but why today. And she wants me to be his Godmother.

AF arrived for the first time on July 1. I know many women have gotten pregnant after their first AF. But my Dr. wants me to wait until my next AF. WHY DO I HAVE TO WAIT!!!! I DON'T WANT WAIT!!! ESPECIALLY SINCE SHE HAD HER BABY!!

HELP!!

Im sorry hun xxx I think you should listen to your doctor though sweetie, its only another month (lol and i can say 'only' cause i have waited 3 months lol). Other preggo people in our lives is really annoying! my sister is due 2 weeks before my dec EDD

stay strong hun, you will be holding your baby soon too x

I'm sending you some for this cycle! What can your doc really say if you get preggers this cycle? Nothing!

Thanks so much to you all. I know I should wait and there is a part of me that says you have to listen. But there is a part of me that says hehehe what will he do? pop my hand. I am really praying for God's guidance here.

My mother in law keeps updating me on the baby's condition. He is doing good. They took the oxygen tube out. And get this she says I know you were sad about losing the baby ( I hate for people to say that, I did not lose my baby !@#)She procedes to say I don't know how Amber is going to do with the baby so I am going to need you to help me raise this baby if she is not doing a good job.... EXCUSE me! She was woman enough to get pregnant she better be woman enough to take care of it. I just could not believe she would say that.

AHHHHHH!!! She said WHAT? Why would it be your responsibility to help raise the baby??? She does understand how difficult this is for you, right? Sometimes, I just don't get people.

Thanks Jenn. She (mother in law) does not think the miscarriage matters. She could not understand why I could not talk to her pregnant daughter for 2 weeks after my miscarriage. I could not talk to someone who was pregnant and complained constantly. Someone who refused to take vitamins, eat right, exercise and just take care of herself. But I was being mean for not talking to her. They really get on my nerves MOST of the time.

Gosh I am horrified at how your being treated by your MIL!!

Not to be offensive but has she and her DD always been this selfish?

Now is as good as time as any to lay down some high boundries.

I hope things get better for you and these pple start to think more outside of themselves.

Thanks Irene, they started all this when the daughter got pregnant. She is actually adopted. My husband can't stand the way they treat her verses how he and his brother were treated. They came to a few of my kids softball games this year and people would actually make comments like... "wow, they act like she is the first woman to have a baby". My kids were not even allowed to hug her because she was pregnant.

My husband has already let them know that we will not raise this baby because she is too lazy to do it. They think he is being very mean. UUGGGHHH!
