Update on me...

We met with the infertility specialist and made a BIG decision. After 4 unsuccessful pregnancies we have decided to try IVF with PGD, which is where the doctors test the embryos for genetic disorders before implanting them. We are pretty much out of tests to run so we are praying this works. It looks like we will be doing the IVF in September. "nervous" Hooray!

Nicole -- that's exciting! My nephew is an IVF baby. (It worked for them the first time!) I hope it works for you! September is not THAT far away. I'm glad you have a plan.

Nicole - good luck! Even though September may seem like *forEVER* away, you have a plan. It is always hardest when you are just winging it - if you have a plan, at least you know what the next step is!

I will be keeping my fingers crossed for you. Maybe you will get lucky with twins!

God knows I would be thrilled with twins - then no more RE's for me!!

I hope the first time is the lucky time for you!!! How many embryos are they implanting? Would you like twins??

Thanks ladies! I'm not sure yet how many embryos they are going to implant. But I think twins would be wonderful - one of each!!!

Did you know you have to take BCP for a month before the IVF....I didn't either

We'll start those after AF arrives. Should be in about 3 weeks. Really excited to have a plan!
