Well, I survived my Hsg today

I was in and out of the hospital in less than 1 hour!!! The good news...everything was all clear! When my doctor was done, he said "Well, we've cleared out the cobwebs...now go get pregnant!" I hope it's that easy

I was excited, but part of me was also hoping that they would find something that would explain why I can't seem to be able to get pregnant again. Now, dh is going to go get his SA, and then my doctor said he will call me to discuss the next step.

Oh, and it really wasn't bad at all. I took 800 mg Ibuprofen about 1 hour before the procedure and didn't hardly feel anything (my doctor said that since I've had a vaginal birth before, that helps decrease the pain from inserting the catheter. He also said that there is usually more pain if there's a blockage.) Overall, the cramping afterwards was the worst part.

Just wanted to let you know! Thank you all for your thoughts and well wishes!!

I'm glad to hear everything is all clear. I understand wanting to know WHY it hasn't happened by now, but unfortunately those answers don't always come easy. Now, like she says, go get preggers!!!

YAY! I'm so glad the HSG went well hun. I know how you feel about them wanting to find something, but I have heard a lot of ladies get pg bc the HSG clears the pipes. I hope this does the trick for you. I'll be thinking of you and stalking you .....

Congratulations!!! I also hope it is that easy for you to just go out and get preggo!!! Good luck to you and thank you for posting your experience, hopefully the nervousness eases when it is time for me to go it. Unfortunately, AF is not showing and my doc wont do one until she does, so Please pass some AF dust this way. Thanx again.

I'm stalking you.

Yay for a great HSG!!! I hope you get your BFP now that all those cobwebs are cleared out.

I'm glad to hear it wasn't horribly painful...I should be having mine in about 3 weeks or so.
