I just wanted to know what you ladies think I should do. Sunday will be 6 weeks since my miscarriage and AF still hasn't shown. I know for a fact that my HCG numbers have been down since June 10th. So it's been a month since my numbers were zero and probably a little longer actually because that was a week and a half after the miscarriage. My HCG numbers were low to begin with. I just don't know if I need to get an appt. or wait it out. I have taken a test and it was a negative. My dr that I was going to see for the pregnancy, I have decided not to go back to him. I can't get into to see a new doctor until August 12 but didn't know if I should try and get in sooner. What do ya'll think? THanks for reading.

I don't know what to say. I didn't get my 1st af until 2 months after af, but it took a looooooooooooooong time for my #'s to drop for some unknown reason. I would say try to see if the doc can get you in earlier. I hope you get some news soon so you can start trying when you're ready. KUP

My miscarriage was June 3 and my Dr. said it could take 8 weeks for the first AF. He said it should not take longer than that. He said if I did not have one in 8 weeks to come back in for more tests to see what was going on. So you are still in the waiting window....sorry.

THanks for the responses. I just didn't know how long it would take. i know some people that miscarry that early, AF shows up right on time. I guess every person is different. I just thought since my numbers never got very high and since they had been at 0 for over a month now, that AF would have shown. I just don't want to have AF on the 12th of August because that is my appointment and yearly check-up and made the appt almost a month ago. So it is taking almost 2 months to get into to see him and I don't want anything to interfere with that appt. Thanks for your replies ladies. I appreciate it.

With three of my four miscarriages AF was right on time. The other one, even though my numbers dropped basically immediately, AF didn't show for nearly two months. It sucks, but sometimes it just happens that way. I hope you get some answers soon.
