as too much sex when ttc?

I know they say to have sex every other day when ttc (i think!) but does having sex everyday increase your chances of conception or not x

I used to think it would. When we were really trying I would bd every day around o time. That last month I was like whatever and did it every other day. Then I got pg. So, try every other day.

The thing is, the more often the man ejaculates, the quantity (and some studies even say quality) of his sperm goes down. I don't know if every day is too much, but more than once a day can be. He can only produce sperm so fast...lol. So give him time to build supply back up.

I've always read online that the best time to BD is in the morning when you're ovulating. BD every other day before/after you ovulate. You can even wait a couple of days in between. So Monday BD, and then BD again on Thursday. Sperm stays in the females body up to 48 hrs I believe. I think that's what I read on a website a few weeks ago.

However, I think even if you have sex every night... you will eventually get pregnant. One of those spermies will catch the egg.

I think that the important thing is to have fun and enjoy the sex!

We've tried everyday and every other day. When we got pg we only BD'd twice that month! My friend who just got her BFP BD'd every 3rd day! Who really knows?
