not sure if it's anything, but i'm having some spotting today. af is due today, but yesterday i took an hpt (which i posted a pic of) and it was fairly medium. then today i took another and the line was noticeably darker. now later today i started spotting! but if my hpt got darker, why??!! i know i know, sometimes spotting is just spotting. but i'm getting that feeling again- that feeling when i started bleeding that day i had the m/c. like i just want to cry. even though technically af was due today anyway, i've already gotten 3 obvious bfp, no faint lines. why did i test??? i would've been better off just getting af (since it was due today anyway) than knowing about my bfp.

let's hope the spotting stops, but i'm very sad about it anyway.

With both of my kids I had spotting the day AF was due.
I know it is easier said than done but at this point if it is just spotting try not to worry.

I will keep you in my T&Ps, please KUP!!

I also had spotting with both of my children. My DD I bled for 3 days and with my son I actually bled from July 13-Aug. 1. But he is 7 yrs old now and doing great. I will keep you in my prayers.

it's good to hear that some of you had spotting w/ your pg. so far it hasn't gotten worse and turned into af, it's still just spotting. i'll test tomorrow morning and see if that hpt gets any darker. i've taken 3 tests and all of them have shown up almost immediately, so i don't think it could be anything else but a bfp.

i hate this! i'll update if anything else happens.

I know what you mean about hating being in "limbo"....I'm right there with ya. As for the spotting....here's my story w/ DD. I found out I was pregnant at 8 weeks because I had enough bleeding at 4 weeks that I didn't even question that it was AF. Now, after everything I've been through, I think back and imagine how nuts I would have been if I had known I was pg before all that bleeding. I'm SO glad that I didn't!! Hang in there!

I have been spotting pretty much since I got my BFP

I think it's normal at the point you are at and will turn out to be nothing

It really is most likely from that bean burrowing (sp?) in.

I hope it goes away soon so you can enjoy the next 36 weeks

thanks again soooooo much, you don't know how good it is to hear reassuring things right now. once you've been through it, you just expect the worst.

but an update- i tested again this morning, and it was even darker than yesterday's. i should post a pic of the hpts. anyhoo, the spotting is still on and off, but still extremely light and mostly brownish. which i'm so glad for. at times it is pink, and then i hate it. but mostly it's brownish. i hope it's just normal spotting. i finally told dh today about my bfp, last night when i started spotting i was thinking i wouldn't even tell him, just in case. but this morning when i tested it was so dark, and the spotting hadn't turned into a flow, so i told him.

i'll go take a pic of my hpts and post that.
