We got a huge rainstorm around 3:30pm-4pm. It down poured for about 20-30 minutes. Our cars were almost totaled from the flooded parking lot. It was so bad! The water got pretty high around certain parts of our apartment complex. I have two videos of it. It's just crazy. Please don't mind my dorky accent. I'm from Wisconsin originally.. lol

Water up to my knees!!

Yeah, it wasn't that bad. We just don't have a lot of drains here. So, the water has no where to go. Nobody was hurt at our place. I can't speak for others though.

Ness, I saw pictures of the 60 at Priest. It was crazy!! I'm so glad I did not get stuck in that weather.

We thougth the freeeway would have been much better but it wasnt. And after we had gotten on we saw the flashing adot sign. I wish we could have backed up. I was shaking so hard because of the stress of it. I work at the Pointe and on my way to work I saw an apartment building that looks like it is sinking into the mud on Hardy and Baseline.

My swimming pool is filled up to the top. The water level is even with the deck. Atleast I dont have to ad more water to it this week. They say there is a chance of rain today.

Yeah, our one of our pools at our complex was pretty full. If it rained longer, it would have been over flowing. If it does rain today, I hope it isn't a down pour like yesterday. DH is out of town and I really don't want to drive his tank of a car. At least it's backed in, so it will take the water awhile to reach the engine if it does happen again.
