Hi. I was in the July DDC but lost my baby at 5+ months. I was unfortunately a part of the Stillbirth/Pregnancy Loss boards (though not very actively). In any case my doctor cleared me for trying again in June. At that time we just stopped actively preventing. Since that time I've been keeping track of my cycles, mostly because I was afraid of a mistake before being cleared. In any case since then, I had my period about every 28 days. Very regular. Until July. Now I haven't had a period since June (2-5th) and expected it again by now. It is the 15th of July and I am worried. I have tested but came up with 2 last week. I dont' know if I should test again (don't feel pregnant like I did last time) or contact my doctor. I know that my cycle can be irregular following a loss, but it hadn't been. Any ideas? I'm just confused.

firstly im so sorry for you loss
i think i would be a bit concerned too.
since your af has been regular since the loss i would suggest testing again and if still a bfn then go to the doc.
i personally have had a lot of late bfps and also pregnancies where i just didnt "feel" it but sure enough, the bfps came
please keep us posted
x

I want to start out by saying that I am truly sorry for you loss and welcome to this wonderful supportive board.

You say that you have been keeping track of you cycle. How exactly have you been tracking. Do you know if you ovulated this cycle?
You may not have ovulated and that is why this cycle is wacko.

Hopefully this is not the case and you are just getting a late BFP. Good luck and KUP!

Thank you all. Everyone always is supportive I found on all the boards here.

As far as ovulating, unless I feel it happening, I wouldn't know anything. I don't really want to invest too much time figuring it all out because I don't want to be hung up on it. Doctor said not to worry about it too much right now and that's what I want to do. Besides, I don't think I want the hassle of trying to take my temps and checking my CM

Hello & Welcome to the board.

I'm so deepy sorry for your loss!!! I can't even begin to imagine what you went through.

I'm going to agree with the other ladies in waiting to test again, and then go see the doctor if the test is negative. I hope you're able to find out what's up soon.

Welcome Franchesca, I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I agree with everyone else. Although I probably would have called my Dr. by now. Good luck and KUP.
