I am trying to catch up on posts and see a few new BFP! How wonderful!

Our trip went great!!!

The only sad thing was I was unable to catch a nice fat Pacific Salmon, A transiant POD of killer whales decided to come and play with our boat and in doing so the chased of all the Salmon!!

The came at first close to the boat as they fed on the fish then after they came up to the boat and went under it as well as rolled along side close enough to touch but it was to scary!!!! We got great pics!

I also got a pretty bad sunburn while collecting sea glass to make jewlery. I was happy to get to the local fish market and BUY 2 huge fat salmons to bring home to make Candy Smoked Salmon!

We rented 2 suites right on the Ocean so we could sit on the veranda in our room and watch the kids seek out treasures and creatures dureing low tide. It was very relaxing!

I am leaving first thing in the morning to a week long confernce back in Vancouver's Wall center!
I will be doing some of the grief and loss training to go along with me being a doula

I had to turn down a client due this week to go

AS for my cycle its a bust as I expected I have spotting last on 8/10 dpo and still testing BFN 12 dpo and cramping as I am sure AF is knocking away as we speak.

so you're a doula? i always wanted one instead of a regular ob.
also, i broke down and tested really early (as you know lol) and i got all bfn up until 13 dpo. then on 13 dpo it was pretty dark, i mean dark enough that i didn't have to ask 400 people if they see a line. ALSO (lol) i started spotting 14 dpo the day af was due, and spotted for 2-3 days, but it's been completely gone for a few days now. i was sure af was coming cuz i had all the pms. so you never know!

Wow noway!! You got BFN even 12dpo?

I just tested again tonight with 3 hour held pee at 10PM 12dpo and its still stark white. I am pretty sure I am not pg. I am just hopeing I get af on time and its a normal cycle comeing up

I am a Doula yes.. I think you are refering to a Midwife they deliver babies.

I am a proffesional Birth assistant. I offer continuos physical and emotional support to a labouring mom. I do child birth education as well as the advocate and the medical translater for the mom and family dureing a birth.

I specialize in Teens, Abused women and now Grief and loss/ fetal demise births.

It's a great job I love it!!!!!

oh yes, i started testing at like 8 dpo, and i had WHITE bfn up until 13 dpo. my 12 dpo was a WHITE BFN. like there wasn't even a shadow to obsess about . so... you never know. i hope you get your bfp in the next few days. i even bought a box of 40 tampax for af. i was so sure it was coming.

what's the difference between a doula and midwife? t sounds like you do similar things. i had always wanted to have one but w/ my first, i had no idea how to get one lol. i just went to the dr through my insurance. this time though, i might try. i wasn't a fan of all the stuff like how they push epidurals, drugs, take the baby away, etc. but luckily the hospital i delivered in was very good. they are sort of new and have a more natural style.
