Just an update on how my scan went. I was actaully 20+5. Anyway, baby was stuborn as heck and wouldn't cooperate. She only got to check a few things then had me go walk around for a bit (walking puts my baby to sleep) and then tried again without success so we of course have not idea of the sex. Little sausage!

It was funny at one point, baby was stretching his legs and feet all the way out and flexing his/her toes, I loved it!!!!

I was told that the baby is on the small side and I mean like the 5 - 10 percentile. Thing is, I'm short and I'm American and the babies here are really big so I'm thinking it's all UK based data and that's why we're almost off the normal scale. That and it could be that my dates are just off. Don't matter, baby looked great, I do have to go back next Friday for another scan so they can veiw his/her heart and some other things they couldn't see.

I still don't see my midwife for another 3 or 4 weeks.

Baby is kicking like crazy and moving all over. He/she is really high up already, head is well above my belly button. For some reason I thought baby would be just about at my belly button. Oh well, no wonder I look more pregnant than I thought....lol

We did have a great day out for the scan. Took the train into town and after the scan had a wonderful lunch at an Irish pub that played nothing but country music. Then did some shopping at mothercare, really need some over the bump jeans but can't justify £30 so ebay will do for now.

Ok, that's my update!

Awe Pam, that sucks!!!

As long as the baby is healthy, I'm sure the gender doesn't really matter!

I do have my fingers crossed that it's a girl though!

Be sure to update us after the next appointments!

I'm so glad all is well Pam. I'm sorry the baby wasn't cooperating though.

Not really worried about gender as long as baby is healthy too.

I hope that you found out the gender next time you go for a scan. Glad to hear everything is going well.
