I left for Las Vegas on Wednesday morning and didn't return until yesterday afternoon. While I was gone, someone knocked out one section of the sound barrier wall that faces the I-10. There is a huge gap. I can literally drive my car right through it. I have my own private entrance to the freeway.

And then some new neighbors moved in. No big deal right? Usually not. However, I noticed they were younger guys and there was a bunch of garbage (beer boxes) sitting outside their door. I figured they had a "woohoo we're dumb kids who throw parties because we got a new place to live!!" party.

Last night, they had a huge party. I got woken up at 10:45pm, 12:50am, and 2:40am. I called our so called "on-site" security. They are not on-site. Management just likes to say that to make people feel better. They came out about 30 minutes after I called at 10:45pm. I called them again at 1am. They told me they would come out again and to also call the police since the party goers were being non-compliant.

I have no idea when anyone else came back out. I told the dispatcher that I just wanted to get some sleep. I didn't want to talk to anyone. Just tell them to shut the heck up and then they can leave.

I am so glad we are moving out in 12 days. Yeah, I'm counting. This property has gone from luxury to rowdy as hell in the past year since new management took over. I got better sleep in the hotel the past couple of days then I do in my own home!!

It just pisses me off to no end. I feel bad for Heath because he worked 70 hrs this week. His only day off is today. Last night was the only night he is going to get to sleep in. He has to get up at 6am to go right back into work tomorrow.

We will be talking to the leasing office and I'm going to tell them they should just throw a Motel 6 sign right out front. They get reports when security or the police are called, but I'm still going to talk to them personally. I'm sick of it!!

I'm sorry you had such a horrible night. I know how the rowdy neighbor thing is. I can't stand when people are immature and inconsiderate of other people. The good think about the whole thing is though, you will be leaving soon. Maybe if you go talk to management, they will get the situation under control and you can have a peaceful 12 days that you have left there. Good luck girl and I hope you week is better than your weekend.

We called security only because Phoenix PD doesn't have enough officers. They are short handed. And since police prioritize the calls, it could have taken up to three hours for anyone to come out. That's why we have to rely on security. lol
