Not literally, like at Steph's  (I'm so sorry about your basement!)
Cori woke up at 2 am screaming (and making crazy demands....green beans....Nemo.....etc). I gave her Motrin and she fell back asleep, but started right back in after waking up. I took her to the doc this morning, they sure do get you in fast when your child is screaming bloody murder in the waiting room. They checked her all out and gave a range of options from a virus (another virus) causing stomach pains to appendicitis. Her ears were ruled out. They drew blood and she peed on the potty for them so we got a urine sample. CBC came back good, not suggestive of appendicitis (Thank the Lord). When we got home she got lethargic and felt much warmer....took a temp, 104.8. Yep, you read that right. I decided to bug the Dr office until they came up with something, TODAY. I don't want to end up in ER tonight. They are seeing her again at 5, and will probably have to cathederize her to get a urine sample the is "clean, for sure". If that sample looks bad then I'm hoping they'll get her started on antibiotics tonight. She hasn't had a UTI before, but I had one that became a kidney infection so I'm extra careful about them.
Anyway, so much for "bedrest"! Although, all of this is distracting me from my other worries.....

Oh your poor baby! And poor mommy too! It's so stressful when little ones are sick! I hope she is feeling better soon!

I'm so sorry Cori is sick. I hope that the dr's figure out what is going on soon and that it is nothing serious. You will be in my thoughts and prayers. DOn't forget to take care of yourself as well and try to rest as much as possible. KUP.

oh poor cori
UTIs are not nice at all. sadie gets them frequently and i used to be the same!
i hope they find out what it is soon so you can get to resting at least a little
xx

I'm just getting on-line today, and catching up! I'm so sorry Cori is so sick!! It's the worst!! I hope they figure out what is going on, and she starts to feel better soon!! What was their course of action at your second appointment? I'm thinking about you and your bean, and also adding poor little Cori to my prayers too!!

Update - They did cathederize her yesterday (not fun) to take a urine sample. That sample wasn't at all suspicious. They are still culturing it, but a UTI is not too likely at this point. Cori is feeling much better today....she slept all night too. I'm still worried about whatever it is, but at least the major players...meningitis, kidney infect, appendicitis....have been somewhat ruled out.
As for me, I've had no spotting since Monday and plenty of nausea. Thanks for everything ladies, maybe later when dh is home I'll be able to get on here and actually catch up with everything thats going on.

I am so glad that Cori is feeling better. I do hope and pray that she is back to normal soon.

Those are both GREAT pieces of news!! I'm so glad she's feeling a little better, and the scary things have been ruled out!! I hope she keeps improving!!
And that is wonderful that you are feeling a bit better, and the spotting hasn't continued!! Do you go back to the Dr on Monday again?
