Just wondering if anyone has tried accupuncture or holistic medicine ttc. I've never been able to get prego without medical intervention. I figure I try this route instead of jumping into IVF. Has anybody had any experience with this?
I haven't tried it, but I did read a cool article about it not long ago. The study was done on a group of IVFers. Some of them had accupuncture post-transfer and some did not. They were able to show a statistically significant increase in conception with the accupuncture group. It may be worth a shot!

Hi there I saw your post and thought I'd respond because this is something I really believe in. I had two losses and we realized I had low progesterone. I was on my 6th round of clomid and had two failed IUI's. I decided to stop the IUI's and try acupuncture. I drove an hour away to find an acupuncturist who specialized in women's health and fertility. After four tx's (two months) of acupuncture and herbs I got my BFP. I noticed my progesterone levels went up and my temps normalized. My acupuncturist also had a degree in herbal medicine...she said that the herbs help supplement and hold the tx between acupuncture appointments. I had one more session after I got my BFP for threatened miscarriage. As you can see in my siggy my baby boy came early...but it was from a totally different issue.
There is a great book I read called "The Infertility Cure" before I committed to the acupuncture. If/when we try again I will go this route before the fertility tx's. I wish you the best!!
