How quickly did you have your first period after your loss? I lost our son due to a placental abruption at 20 weeks. I am 17 pp today. I feel like I am about to ovulate, having EWCM and ovulation pain.
That would put me having my first period at 4 weeks postpartum, is that normal?
I think it's different for everyone, depending on the circumstances of your loss and you body too. I got AF 3 weeks after my m/c. My m/c was at 9w6d and was a natural one.
Everyone is different. I had a natural m/c at almost 5 weeks and it took 54 days for AF to show back up. I think it is very possible for you to start back on schedule after a m/c. It really just all depends on the person and their body. I am sooo sorry about your loss. I hope that you can find any answers or any support that you need here. These ladies are all wonderful.
My first loss was 5w5d and it took me 4 weeks for Af to show.. 30 days i believe. My second loss was at 8w5d ( i believe) june 7th i think, and i had a D&C, still no af, but i had an IUD placed so i think thats why no af
My dd was stillborn at 27w5d and it took me about 5 weeks before my first af showed up. I think that anything between 4-10 weeks is normal. I have heard of some women that took 12 weeks to get their first af. I didn't O the first month though, but a lot of women do. That is why they say that you are more fertile after a mc/ giving birth. Checking your temps is a good way to find out what your body is doing while you are waiting to ttc. I know I did, just to help keep my mind in a positive direction. Sounds like your body is doing what it should be though.

I also lost my daughter at 20 weeks due to placental abruption. My OB told me that NEVER happens at 20 weeks....so why did it happen to us! Anyway, AF finally showed for me about 35 days PP though I'm told it can take up to 8 weeks.
