Ok a couple weeks ago I was getting pretty bad pains in my right side that wouldn't go away. I finally went to the doc and two different ppl felt it and said "yup, that's a hernia." So I go get an abdominal ultrasound and CT scan and guess what shows up, NOTHING. So this afternoon at 4:00 I have a transvaginal ultrasound to check for a cyst, etc......

Would they be able to see if I was pregnant? I know it's waaaaay too early right. AF is due on Saturday.

Just wishful thinking

They probably wont see much this early, they may notice the womb lining is thicker but it i think it is thicker before af anyway.. with my last preg they scanned at 4weeks 3days which was far to early! i think between 5-6 weeks is best

Dont worry hun, youl get a scan in a couple of weeks after that bfp on saturday!

Oh i nearly forgot to say good luck at your scan, hope everything is ok xxx

I had an ultrasound to check for a cyst in May of 2000. I was diagnosed with a fibroid from that ultrasound. 2 weeks later I found out I was pregnant and when they did another ultrasound to find out how the fibroid would affect the pregnancy they realized the "fibroid" they had seen was the baby!

They may see some "markers" of pregnancy, like thickening of lining, luteal cyst, etc. But they won't see anything that would confirm a pregnancy.
