Hello. Just wanted to check in on Cori and see how she was feeling. How did the appt go yesterday? I also wanted to see how you were doing? Hope she is feeling better and you haven't pulled all your hair out yet?

Hey, thanks for the note. Cori is perfectly fine....again! She was yesterday too. This is just so weird. At the appointment they decided to do a stool sample and check for things like Giardia, E.Coli, and Cryptosporidium. More likely, it is a virus though.

I'm doing okay, my appointment to check on my pregnancy is tomorrow morning. I still have all of my pregnancy symptoms and no spotting so I'm trying to keep my hopes up.

I'm glad Cori is feeling better. I will continue to pray that tomorrow you see your bean and a hb and NO MORE spotting.

Hey Kellyanne - I have been gone for a week and am just catching up. What are Cori's symptoms? My niece was really sick when she was 2-3, vomiting periodically, looked mal-nurished, tired, crabby, stool issues. They ran all sorts of tests and found out she is Celiac (after months of tests). That is where the body can't process wheat, flour, bran (gluten). She has been on a gluten-free diet since and is the picture of health. Celiac is not very common, so a lot of dr's don't think to check. It can hit the body at any time - with kids, it can occur after an illness. With adults, it can happen in their late 20's and women can get it after a pregnancy. It can be genetic. I was diagnosed after my 2nd pregnancy.

Just thought I would throw that out there....

Thanks for the info Amy....if this continues much longer I'm sure they will be checking into all sorts of issues like that. The only thing that makes it not seem likely right now is that she did have a very high fever along with most of her "episodes". It has been over 102 several times and was 104.8 once. So, the fever makes it seem like more of a virus or infection of some sort. She has been feverless for three whole days now (the longest so far) so perhaps we're headed in the right direction.
