Well ladies, my little one is still hanging in there. It measures 7 week 6 days, which is still about a week behind but means that it caught up by a few days. Its heartbeat increased from 130 to 167 and at one point she thought she saw some movement too. The gestational sac still isn't perfectly round, but it looks much better than last week. She even felt good enough about it today to send me for my prenatal panel. I did ask for another u/s next week (Thurs) so I can have some more reassurance before leaving for a 2 week vacation. I'm still a bit nervous about being a week behind (and w/my hpt day my dates couldn't be off by much) but at this point I'm trying to just stop worrying.

Thanks for all of your thoughts and prayers. Now I'm just hoping that whatever is going on with Cori will resolve itself so I can have a restful vacation.

I'm glad to hear things are going good still! I wouldn't worry about the baby being a week off, Athena was 2 weeks off because they wouldn't change my conception date. Sometimes those things are always right! I'll continue to pray for you and your little bean

I'm glad that you had good news at your u/s!! Your little baby might have just implanted late or something. But it's GREAT news that s/he's still hanging on!

I hope Cori gets better soon.

I will continue to pray for you and baby.

That is great news!! I am so happy for you. That is a nice strong heartbeat too!! Like Eleysia said my baby was a slow starter too but now my little girl is even measuring a few days ahead. I think my baby took a little longer to implant and that is why there was so much confusion. And I swear by never getting early u/s ever again!!!

I am glad you got some great news today and will have even more reassurance next week before your much needed vacation!

Kelly, that's FABULOUS news!!! I'm so happy for you! Like Rhonda, I had a late bloomer too. My little one was measuring behind first almost 2 wks, then 1, and then finally caught up to where I thought it should be (according to my dates) a couple weeks ago. So I'm guessing it's not that uncommon. I'm so glad your little one is hanging in there!! Congrats!!

I hope they figure out what Cori has too, and she gets to feeling better soon!!

That is such great news!!! And as mention above, don't read too much into the sizing of the baby. I went for my big anatomy scan and the tech told me the baby was measuring really small, like in the 10 percentile for most areas. Well, I had to go back for another scan with a different tech and now the abdomin is in the 90th percentile. The important thing is, the baby is doing great and growing.
