I ask because my DH just got home from work and last night he witnessed a horrific motorcycle accident (bad enough that the Chief has requested he have a counselling session). The injuries and everything sounded so familiar to what your brother went through, that it made me wonder how he's doing.

omg i cant believe I forgot to undate you all, im so sorry Thanks for asking though ladies.

Well he is now awake and doing really well. He is not on ICU anymore, hes on an orthepedic ward (cant spell lol, but its for bone injuries and stuff) He has had a few more ops on his leg since he came out of ICU and he has had a couple of skin grafts too. He also has a bad back injury that was worse than they orginally thought

He had some cracks in the vertabrae (sp?) in his spine, they thought they would heal on their own. But they have started to open up, so hes now laid flat on his back in a body brace while they decide what hospital to send him to. They want to send him to a specialist hospital nearby that specialise in skin grafts, or another one that specialises in spinal injuries. So its just a waiting game now I guess

He seems ok though, I have been to see him a few times. Hes just bored even though my dad has taken him in a ps3 and a flatscreen TV for his birthday Oh and hes got his laptop in there too lol, so he talks to me on msn some times. How he manages to type laid flat on his back I have no idea

I am so glad he on the road to recovery!! Slow as it is at least he is here to be able to travel it!!!

I'm so glad he's doing better. I have two baby brothers and just can't imagine if they were hurt. I went searching for an update a few days ago and meant to ask you so thanks for KUP!
