AF showed up this afternoon on my way to Las Vegas. It's light, but it's definitely AF. It's not miscarriage bleeding. WEIRD!! I got a BFP this morning. I don't know what's up with my body. It's so messed up. I'm going to see how it goes over the next few days.

Do you think I should keep my doctor's appointment for the 22nd? It's for my first appointment as a pregnant woman.

My mom told me that when she was pregnant with my sister, she got her period for the first two months. She never new she was pregnant until she hit 13 weeks. I'm just confused and lost.

I've had such a bad day. What could go wrong DID go wrong. I have a post to write about that later. But yeah... I don't know. I didn't have my hopes up this month anyway. I am a little let down though. Who wouldn't be?

Wow what a day for you huh?

I've heard several ppl say that they had their periods while they were pregnant. I don't know exactly how or why that would happen, but it doesn't seem to be super uncommon. Is there a chance you had a bad batch of tests with evap lines? I wish I could be of help, I hope you get answers very soon. And if I were you I'd try to get into the doctor before the 22nd, but I would keep that appt. because you don't know. Good luck girl, KUP.

I took two different brands of tests. I don't think they would both be evaps... but I have been pretty unlucky lately. BLAH! I just don't know what to think. I'm still going to eat as if I am pregnant though. You never know. I'm just going to stay 100% healthy. I'll call my doctor on Monday though and talk to them about it. I'll see if they will let me come in earlier or not.

Not to make you feel bad or worried but could it have been a chemical pregnancy and that why the test were so faint?
You will be in my thoughts and prayers that everything is ok and this is a sticky bean for you cuz you totally deserve it.
Hugs

Like an ectopic?

I don't know. Maybe? But if you have one of those, doesn't it follow really horrid cramping and very heavy bleeding? I don't have that.

I think a chemical pg is where you have the hcg in your blood but the sac never develops into anything, I'm sure other ladies on the board know way more about it and I can google it in a minute. It could be that or you could just be pregnant and have a little bleeding like it seems most ppl have. I hope you get answers soon, you do not need this right now while moving!

A chemical pregnancy is where you get a faint BFP then start your period shortly after, usually your HCG levels never get above 50 just enough to be detected by a pregnancy test. Most Chemical pregnancy go unnoticed but in most cases if your TTC and test early you can pick them up. Usually your period can be a few days late and just a little heavier or in some cases come on time and be just like normal AF. I hope this isn't the case for you, i'll def keep you in my thoughts and prayers!

I'm so sorry you're going through this...especially with so much other stress in your life right now. I've had it go both ways for me....with my m/c's my tests never got very dark and my bleeding was no different than a regular af....with DD I had what I thought was af and consequently didn't find out about her until I was 8 weeks along. If your hpts seem to be getting lighter instead of darker then unfortunately it probably is an early m/c (or chemical pg). If they get darker, then you might want to try to get in to a doc and get blood drawn or something. KUP

This could just be a symptom of the stress that you've had. My Dr. told me that lots of ladies still get regular cycles for the first few months (that's why they are shocked to discover they are pg). Test again in a day or two. If it's still positive - then go to the Dr. appt.
