I just wanted to give a little update since my m/c. I had been visiting family all month in MA. It was a strange visit. A week or so after my m/c my grandmother passed away and a few days later my nephew was born a couple of weeks early. It was a scary start but he is good now and home. He was sent to Children’s in Bosotn right after he was born for possible respiratory acidosis but luckily he didn't fit the protocol for that and they sent him back to the hospital he was born at the next day. He was in the NICU for a couple of days but by the end of the hosp. stay he was in the room with my sister-in-law. He is TINY. Born at 5lbs. 4oz. and 17 ½ in. It was bittersweet for me but I love him like crazy.
Sorry I went MIA. DH and I want another baby even more now so we aren't giving up!

Yesterday my SIL had to go back to the hospital b/c she was in pain with a fever. She ended up having emergency surgery b/c she developed an infection after the c-section. She is still in ICU with a vent, but awake. I'll find out more later. Please say a prayer for her.

Hi Lynn. Welcome back. I'm sorry about the loss of your grandmother and i'm glad to hear that your nephew is doing wonderfully now. I know it must have been scary. My son was in the NICU for a week after he was born. We missed ya and glad you are back. Good luck on continuing ttc and I hope that you get your BFP soon. I hope you have a great weekend.

Thanks everyone. I don't have much to report but things haven't improved at all. Her dr. said she hasn't turned the corner yet. She is still on the vent and they are probably transferring her to New England Medical tomorrow in case they need to do more surgeries. My brother is starting to lose it. I am really scared. I hate that I am here and can't be with my family for support. I can't believe this is happening.
Oh, my nephew's name is Connor Joseph and he is the cutest. I'll try to post a pic soon.

Lynne,
I really hope she improves soon!! How scary....I simply can't imagine being in your brother's situation with a new little one and a wife who is sick. My thoughts and prayers are with your entire family.
By the way, I am the one who has a Corinne.....my only nephew's name is Connor.

Wow, really? That is funny. I don't hear of too many Corinne's and I love that name (obviously )! Connor has an older brother Anthony who is 6. He is mine and DH's godson.

We pronounce it with a short i, Cor-IN....but it is still a bit softer than that if you KWIM. Not Cor-EEN
Is that how you pronounce your daughter's name as well?
Also, we call her Cori.
