Hi I have always been a lurker in a lot of the forums but I have a question and I am hoping for someone to be able to answer it! I had a m/c on July 8 at only 4.5 weeks I had truly just found out I was pregnant then to turn around 3 days later and my numbers already down to 1. So I was very upset but also I was still trying to grasp the idea of being pregnant all at the same time. SO my question is I stopped bleeding on July 10 and havent had a period since all of this will I ovulate at all or do i have to continue to have another period first. We are really trying to get pregnant but now I have no clue when I will ovulate. I did just order some ovulation predictor strips but this not knowing what is going on is killing me!~ Thanks Erin

First off, I am so sorry for your loss. My situation is almost just like yours and it was very upsetting for me as well.

I m/c'd on 7/16 and had about 4 days of bleeding. I did ovulate around the 29th so it is possible for your body to get back into it's normal cycle right away. It's different for everyone. You may have already ovulated since you m/c'd on the 8th. It's hard to say if you aren't tracking your fertility signs or using opk yet. Good luck. I hope you have an answer soon! First of all I am sorry for your loss. My first loss was a lot like yours. I found out I was pregnant and mc'd the very next day. Very devastating to say the least.

As far as your question. I think it really depends on if you were regular before you got pregnant or not? If your cycles before were regular then it is very likely they will be again. I was never regular, but after I gave birth (my daughter was stillborn) I was a lot more "fertile" or so it would seem. I O'd every month and although it varied from month to month. A lot of women are more fertile after being pregnant so you could already be pregnant again. If you normally have a 28 day cycle then you might have O'd around July 22nd and you could almost test now. With all that said, some women don't O the first month or two after a mc.

Erin I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I love the ladies here, but my heart breaks a little bit when a new member joins.

My m/c was at 9w6d and I got my first AF 23 days later. I wasn't charting during that time, but I'm pretty sure that I O'd, however, I'm not positive that I O'd the next cycle. I wish there was a magic formula, but I'm afraid that everyone is different.

well thanks for all your replys I know I am not in this alone! I got pregnant with my daughter so easy that I didn't realize how fortunate I was until now. I am hoping for the next cycle now though I just need to start AF so I can continue to monitor. Thanks Erin

I am so very sorry for your loss My 12w m/c was so long ago I cant rember but I did get pg 3 cycle later,

6w m/c was about 6w to 7w for first af
6w m/c same thing
17w m/c 7w later
17w m/c 13w later for first af

First of all, I'm really sorry for your loss but I'm glad that you found us and hope that you can get some answers that you are looking for. These ladies on here are all wonderful and supportive. We all know what it's like because we have all been there.

Our situations are sooo similar. I found out I was pregnant on a Wednesday and m/c on sunday. We had been ttc for 9 months. I was also 4wks 5days. I bled for 2 days and it took af 55 days to show back up. I did keep temping though and FertilityFriend says I ovulated. It is very possible to ovulate and to get pregnant before AF shows again.
