I had blood work done last Friday to make sure that everything was going back down to normal. Well, they called today while I was working, and I snuck out early, around 4:30 to call them back. Apparently, though, there is only one person in the entire office who can give me my results and she is only in from 9-4. Which is great because I work from 8-5. I think the poor receptionist I talked to was so annoyed with me. I know it isn't a huge deal, I feel alright, I'm sure everything is going to be okay, but I just want to know the stupid results. I hate all this waiting. Last time I actually had blood work done, my numbers were still going up, so of course there is a tiny part of me that is still hoping that all the blood was from something else or was just a bad dream. Grrrr. It doesn't help that DF is still gone, and no one else knew I was even pg. I feel so alone in all of this. Alright, I need to stop my vent before I make myself cry!

So, the docs office has drawn blood....but that's it?? They haven't done an ultrasound to confirm your loss? Honestly, that seems a bit off to me. 8 weeks is pretty far along and I would think they would at least make sure that you had a complete m/c. I'm sorry that on top of going through everything on your own, your doc isn't being very helpful either. I hope you are able to speak with someone who can give you more information tomorrow. KUP and

I'm impressed that your Dr. will even call you with test results. Here we get the "no news is good news" talk - meaning they will only call if there's a problem.

After all of my ranting yesterday, I feel like the biggest brat ever now I got the call from the doctor's office today, and my HCG dropped from 15,000 something to 61 in a week. They won't do any extra testing to explain WHY this is happening, but at least they are making sure everything is alright for now. On top of that, DF decided to surprise me and showed up unexpectedly last night It was the best surprise EVER!!

I'm sorry you are going through this but at least you did get a call back with the results. What a nice surprise though that DF came home early. I hope you had a better night and G/L when you start ttc again. I hope you get a BFP soon.
