Hello everyone

My name is Marie (I go by my middle name..First name is Anna) .. I am going to be 44 years old October 3rd, and am ttc my 11th baby!! I have one *earth bound* ds, Kaden, who is 6 and a half months old. And I have 9 angel babies in heaven. Oh, and a dh who is 41.

Anyway, this is my 5th cycle, and I think it is a bust! I usually have no problem conceiving...as keeping my babies is usually the problem...Looks like I may be going to the RE again. Gonna give it one more month after this cycle has ended (I *think* I am 8dpo) first though..

Nice to meet everyone!

Marie

I have had all the testing done that is possible...so has dh. There were two possibilities that were found that are argued greatly amongst RE's ...NKa cells and AlphaDQ compatibility. My NKa cells were tested 8 days after one of my losses...and showed elevation. That said, I spoke with someone who deals in testing NKa cells and he commented that you need a minimum of 2 weeks after a loss to run that test. He said that NKa cells are higher during pregnancy, and when one looses a baby...so, that test was a wash. The other was that dh and I shared a commonality...That theory was a wash as well as I have two of the same numbers...which means my parents shared a commonality..My mom has had no losses.

The only meds that I was on for my pregnancy that did take, number 10, Kaden..was one baby aspirin, 800mg of progesterone, extra folic acid, and pre-natals...And above all..LOTS of prayers for a miracle...

What do I think? After all I have been through...for me...Kaden was a result of God fixing whatever was broken. Now, the question is....has He fixed it for good? Does He have another earth bound baby in store for dh and I? I suppose I will find out over time.

Thanks for all your support ladies!

Marie

Hi and welcome! I am so very sorry for all your losses

I am 38 and dh is 44. I have been pg 13X and have lost 7 babies in 5 m/c.

We have been blessed with 8 liveing children and ttcing #9 again after a loss 3 months ago at 17w. I have also had 5 yrs straight with unexplained secondary infertility.

Our family Joke has been that we ttced for 5 yrs and nothing and I told dh I wanted to look into something perminant for sterialization if NOT pg by 30 after ttcing for 5 yrs... I did not want a opps at 50!

So 6 weeks before my 30th Birthday I got the flu and dh was sure I must be pg...I thought he was crazy. Well he ran and got a HPT and I used it and he was right! I had Hanna 34 weeks later on her edd. ( She was named after Hannah in the bible after her many yrs of waiting for a baby )

Who says God does not have a sense of humor waiting 6 weeks before I turned 30 to bless us in the eleventh hour after 5 yrs of ttcing!

So know we say hurry up and try again while we know something still works!!!

The last 22 months I have lost 4 babies and had one full term baby.

6w 6w then at 17w( Elijah) with emerg d&c after vaginal birth at home then blood transfusion.

I got pg with our now 10 month old ds 7weeks after loseing Elijah

I then got pg 12w after he was born with our dd Angel and once again m/ced at 17 w vaginally in hosp after induction with d&c to follow for hemeraging.

I hope your prayers are answered swiftly and your holding a baby in your arms once again!
