Soooo.... I have been lurking for about a month, unsure if I should make yet ANOTHER reappearance here. I love hearing about all of the new pregnancies. I'm sad to see that some were lost.

I hope you can all forgive me for disappearing...again. Although, luckily, I never quite made a mark here, so I am sure no one was too upset.

I hope this time I can change that and become a permanent fixture with you ladies. DH and I have no plans to TTC just yet, but if things go right, we will begin again come April or so of next year.

Anyway, in case you all forgot, I'm Candice, 24, mother to 3 beautiful kids. Caden and Dakota who are turning 6 the end of August and Reicher, who will be 1 in September. We lost a baby in March and that's when I came here. My husband is Sergio and he's currently a medical assistant at a pediatric clinic, but will soon be moving back to active duty, but instead of Army this time, it will be National Guard here in CA.

I hope you are all be okay with me moving back in.

Ohhh goodness. He left Active Duty Army after about 5 years after a 9 month stop loss, 2 year long deployments to Iraq and a slew of other things that we just didn't want to be a part of anymore. Turns out, you can't make near as much money as active duty if you don't have an education and a lot of military "school" doesn't transfer to the civilian world. We would've known all this had we taken the time to investigate further, but when DH got back from Iraq the 2nd time, we were so anxious to have him out and worried he'd get stop lossed again that we accelerated his seperation and only had 3 months from the day he returned from Iraq to prepare. We were not prepared at all. I was supposed to get a job to help supplement what we'd lose in the switch, but I got pregnant like 2 weeks before he officially seperated and about 3 weeks later, I was laid up with migraines and nausea and BLEGH for the rest of the 1st trimester. I even left school not even a 3rd into the semester cause I was so sick. Dh's paycheck literally was cut in half, we lost our house, one of our cars and are in debt so bad we're contemplating bankruptcy. Even with a job that loves him and has given him a 2 dollar raise in a year, we just can't support our lifestyle on his tiny paycheck. And we don't feel right taking government help. So, we talked long and hard and decided to try the National Guard. We found an AGR position before his paperwork was even done and the unit wanted him so... that's where we're at now. Waiting for the papers to get finished and he should start with his unit NLT Aug. 15.

No worries about asking. For the most part, I'm an open book lol.
