OK Ladies, I have a TTC question for all of you.......

Why should you only bd every other day when TTC?? Is it bad to bd everyday???

I want to have the best chance to conceive, and want to know if it is better to bd every other day or every day.......

The only time BDing every other day helps is if you have sperm issues... or suspect you have them. Also if you have no idea when you ovulate... BDing every other day won't wear you out too much and you will have all bases covered.

In a healthy couple they say BDing every day is fine... no need to *save up* those swimmers.

IF you dh has normal spern count its acually better to bd everyday your chance of concieving is higher. Check out (www.ovusoft.com)

It explains how and why it is best.

I used to every 2nd day and then looked over old charts( I have 8 yrs worth) and seen I got pg faster in the cycles I bd everyday possable to O or as close as I can get. I have done that my last 5 conceptions and it worked they were all first cycle ttcing

Good luck!

You need to give a little time for the sperm to build up again. There aren't as many active spermies if you BD every day. It may or may not effect things, but DH & I try to BD every other day. It's really hot here right now, so the sperm count is a little lower. Since sperm doesn't live as long in heat. It's harder for us to TTC in the hotter months since it's like 105+ degrees.

I honestly don't think it matters if you BD every other day or every day. Do whatever you want. You will get pregnant either way.

Thanks for the responces.... I just wanted to make sure the BD everyday wouldn't have any adverse effects!!! I don't think that DH has sperm issues. Our first pregnacy took months to conceive, but we didn't try very hard. We timed things a little, but this time around we are both committed to TTC as soon as possible

That was a good point about the heat. My DH works outside in the summer, and it is HOT here now too.....and VERY HUMID!!!!!

I seem to get pregnant every other month. And we don't BD every day during O days.

I think DH has a high sperm count and I'm really fertile. So yeah, just do whatever you want. Don't listen to what websites say.
